Ready to unlock the full potential of sustainability?
APlanet is delighted to present to you our next in-person event that has been organised in collaboration with the London Chamber of Commerce (LCCI) and Microsoft to discuss the obstacles to sustainable business and the solution to overcome them: technology.
Technology has become paramount for businesses looking to achieve their ESG goals, and this trend is only expected to grow in the coming years. This is evident in London’s rapid climate tech growth, which has raised $3.3 billion in venture capital funding since 2016. With more and more ESG data being collected and measured by corporations comes greater challenges. We’ve invited a series of speakers who will turn these obstacles into opportunities: Emma Urrutibehety, Allan Sandilands and Clarise Allamel.
Emma Urrutibehety, Enterprise Account Executive at Microsoft, leads the relationship with strategic customers from the High Tech industry. Her role focuses on understanding the business challenges of her customers to build tailored growth and innovation strategies. Alongside this, Emma mentors students to help them achieve their potential in the first steps of their career. She also encourages women to be more confident by sharing her own experience joining the tech industry as a graduate student.
Allan Sandilands, Head of Environmental Sustainability at Bell Group UK: one of the largest Property Services contractors in the UK, both in terms of geographical coverage and directly employed workforce. Allan’s remit is to lead the delivery of an environmental sustainability strategy and support growing ESG requirements. With 18 years’ worth of experience in the construction industry, Allan specialises in the built environment and construction sector and has held many roles in the public, private and not for profit sectors.
Clarisse Allamel, Corporate Responsibility Associate at Rothschild & Co.
Clarisse is a sustainability passionate with five years experience and a background in sustainability consulting, international business, finance and law.
