Business Development: Italy

To help us on our mission, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. You’ll work hand in hand with our CEO to define the market strategy and provide added value to our clients.

About the role:

  • You will be working together with the CEO and Business Development team to ensure APlanet’s growth within the Italian market. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the business strategy for Italy (this will involve researching the market, competitive landscape, etc.)

  • Representing APlanet at local events, pitch competitions, trade fairs, etc.Management of client relationships from lead capture up to set-up and onboarding 

  • Building innovative ad-hoc proposals for our leads and clients

  • Collaboration with our Product and Customer Success team to increase our value to our clients

  • Ensuring APlanet’s growth and positioning as a leader in Sustainability tech solutions 

What we look for:

  • Previous knowledge and passion for CSR and sustainability. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B business development role (experience in SaaS and CSR/Sustainability are a plus). 
  • Native Italian speaker and knowledge of local business landscape
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Someone who is comfortable with change and has a willingness to take on new challenges
