Business Support Germany

Summary

We’re looking for a talented Business Support (German) to join our growing team. 

APlanet is an award-winning tech startup on a mission to help organisations manage and improve their sustainability performance, be in control of their data and processes, and have tools to incorporate Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria into their strategy, as well as increasing the social and environmental value their organisations bring to society.  

We do this by empowering professionals and teams with our powerful SaaS platform and our revolutionary technology, to streamline processes and data management, and apply the full potential of data insights and information analytics.

With a growing base of clients in Europe, US and Latin America, APlanet already helps more than 100 organisations to manage their sustainability.

Key responsibilities

1. Business development: look for and contact new leads; organise demonstrations of our product
2. ESG and market research: stay up-to-date with the latest trends, ESG regulation updates
3. Marketing: help to organise events (in-person and online), support with content creation eg write articles, create podcasts etc, manage relationships with organisations and key Sustainability players to help our business grow
4. Translation (Spanish → German) and content proofreading
5. Be responsible for creating new business opportunities in your market to drive revenue for APlanet.

Requirements

• Experience in business development or marketing
• Experience in SaaS and/or B2B SaaS companies. Interest in technology products and technology innovation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, and ability to deal with internal teams and customers. 
• Ownership, obsession for providing the greatest possible value to our prospects.
• Native German is required, and experience in other languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, others) is a plus.
• A person with high motivation, who likes our mission and our way of working.
