To help us on our mission, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing international team. You’ll work hand in hand with the CEO and Business Development team to define the market strategy and provide added value to our clients.

About the role

You will be working together with the CEO and Business Development team to ensure Aplanet’s growth within the Brazilian market. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Helping to define the local business strategy for the Brazilian market (this will involve researching the market, competitive landscape, success cases etc.)
  • Representing Aplanet at industry events, pitch competitions, trade fairs, etc.
  • Management of client relationships from lead capture up until set-up and onboarding 
  • Building innovative ad-hoc proposals for our leads and clients
  • Collaboration with our Product and Customer Success team to increase our value to our clients
  • Ensuring Aplanet’s growth and positioning as a leader in sustainability tech solutions in Brazil 

What we look for

Our ideal candidate should fit the following requirements and characteristics:

  • Previous knowledge and passion for CSR and sustainability. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B business development role (experience in SaaS and CSR/Sustainability are a plus). 
  • An extensive list of business contacts within the Brazilian market
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Someone who is comfortable with change and has a willingness to take on new challenges
