{"id":1545,"date":"2023-09-05T13:32:34","date_gmt":"2023-09-05T13:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aplanet.org\/resources\/?p=1545"},"modified":"2023-09-06T06:21:54","modified_gmt":"2023-09-06T06:21:54","slug":"case-study-portoobello-capital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aplanet.org\/resources\/case-study-portoobello-capital\/","title":{"rendered":"Case Study: Portobello Capital"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Portobello Capital, a leading venture capital fund manager in the \u201cMiddle Market\u201d in the Iberian Peninsula, faced a significant challenge.<br><br>Founded in 2010 and managed by a team of financial experts, Portobello Capital has demonstrated an <strong>ongoing commitment to social, environmental and governance responsibility.<\/strong> Their commitment to the companies in which they engage is to identify the opportunities and risks and provide them with all the help they may need to progressively improve in the management of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>However, <strong>collecting<\/strong> <strong>and tracking ESG data from <\/strong>the many companies in which they invest presented considerable difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the implementation of APLANET&#8217;s software, \u2018SUSTAINABILITY\u2019, Portobello Capital managed this data in an Excel spreadsheet, a process that turned out to be both time and resource intensive.
